Good To Know – the ProTools 11 iLok license bundle comes with a ProTools 10 license as well.  It’s a double license. Also, both ProTools 11 and ProTools 10 can peacefully coexist on the same computer!  (Historic!  First Time Ever for two versions of ProTools to exist on the same hard drive!  Wow!)   Reason for this is to allow RTAS third-party plugin owners to utilize their RTAS plugins in ProTools 10 as they will not work in ProTools 11.  Only AAX-format  plugins will work in ProTools 11, and Avid provides a whole suite of AAX plugins with the ProTools 11 package.  Also Good To Know – Student versions of ProTools 11 will not qualify for future free upgrades.
