Many current keyboardists may not be old enough to remember when the CZ-101 changed the whole terrain of the synthesizer world. JUST TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT,  Casio absolutely changed the world with the CZ-101 (bringing oscillator and digitally-controlled synthesis to the mass-market for the first time ever). Their innovation has continued to this day with the new CTK-7000 and WK-7500.  Of course, Casio also makes several other 7000-numbered  products, including label printers, cash registers, digital cameras, watches, usb flash recorders, and other cool electronic products.  Think about it, there’s a real advantage in having access to all aspects of electronics design.  The economy of scale allows the ultra-huge Casio to deliver tremendous value and indeed, a $699 all-in-one keyboard that has the value of at least twice the price if not more.  These two keyboards bring new meaning to the word ‘value’ in a keyboard.
